Portra Lubitel

Portra Lubitel is Isaiah Steinfeld's solo project — a quieter shift in tone from the heavier work in the AU79 catalog. The name draws from two analog photographic objects: Kodak Portra film, known for its warmth and skin tones, and the Lubitel, a Soviet-era medium format toy camera built for the everyday.

The music follows the same logic — imperfect, intimate, and made with whatever was close at hand. Songs recorded late, written like letters, and meant to be heard in small rooms.
